Wide Leg Graphic Trousers

Once sold, the edition is closed.

The graphic check worn by a woman seated in an African studio portrait — printed cloth paired with jacquard, the two patterns coexisting without apology. A Victorian-era cabinet photograph, a woman in plaid standing with her hands resting on a stack of books, looking directly at the camera. The plaid stripe clash board — traditional African historical textiles read through optical distortion, pattern meeting pattern — is the governing logic for the whole collection. These trousers are its clearest structural statement.

A wide, uncompromising silhouette in pure wool. The leg falls with the weight of the cloth; nothing is engineered to flatter in a conventional sense. The graphic — drawn from those hand-painted studio studies, the check and grid forms that recur across Archive I — runs the full length.

Worn alone or as the base of a full matched set with the wrap sweater.

Produced in an edition of 96 pieces.
