Silk Crepe Sleeveless Top in Scratchy Tweed

Once sold, the edition is closed.

The name is the first argument this piece makes: Scratchy Tweed is a contradiction. The pattern was developed from a close study of loomed cloth surfaces — the way a handwoven textile photographs, the texture of the weave structure legible even in reproduction. That visual reference was then given to silk crepe satin, which holds no physical texture at all.

The result is a cloth that looks as though it should feel one way and feels entirely another. The gap between its visual and tactile registers is where the print lives. It is the same instinct that animated the constructed layered silhouette research — cloth and structure working in different directions, the tension between them producing something more precise than either would alone.

Straight neckline, back tie for fit. Wears as a complete set with the Silk Twill Trousers in Scratchy Tweed, or as a standalone over the Straight Silk Trousers.
